Free Piece
School is back in session, so I am also back to writing every morning. “First Thing” is a light-hearted little piece in D with some unexpected twists and turns in the harmony. It has a little bit of a groove to it as well. I hope you enjoy learning it or just listening to it.
The album contains 16 compositions for solo steel string guitar.
The title “dreamlets” comes from the seven movement suite contained in the middle of the album. Each movement of the suite was inspired by reoccurring dreams I've had throughout my life.
“dreamlets” was recorded, mixed, mastered, and produced by Tom Eaton at his Sound & Substance studio in East Kingston, New Hampshire.
Anthony and Tom have been my creative partners for over a decade and a half now. I couldn't imagine working with anyone else. They are both masters of their crafts.
The official streaming release date is October 16th. If you would like to hear it before then, CD and download pre-sales will be begin on my website and on Bandcamp October 1st.
I can't wait for this music to find its way out there in the world.
NJGO in Louisville
I am now a member of the NJGO (New Jersey Guitar Orchestra). I've been wanting to play with this ensemble for a few years now, and I have finally been able to make the commitment. I am having a blast rehearsing with this group of incredible musicians and educators.
“The NJGO is an elite ensemble of classical guitarists of various backgrounds, from amateurs to professional guitarists and teachers. The NJGO is active during the Fall and Spring semester sessions each year. Our mission is to provide a space for personal expression, expand the artistic experience, and foster community by empowering people to create, perform, respond, and connect to all things guitar.” ~ NJGO.org
Our first performance of the season will be at the University of Louisville Guitar Festival on October 10th. We will be opening for the incredible guitarist Hao Yang. This performance will only include a portion of the entire ensemble, just 9 players, so I am jumping in the deep end of the pool for the first gig. Can't wait!

Here's some of what I've been listening to and reading lately…
That's it for September. I can't wait to share the new album with everyone.
As I write this, there are only four games left in the 2026 baseball season. The Pirates have to win two of those games to finish the season with a winning record of 82-80. (Their last winning season was 2018.) If they do, Kian and I will be holding our own ticker-tape parade down our block. Don't let us down Buccos.
Thanks for your continued support and for reading these newsletters. I really appreciate it. Best to you and yours…
